Meet the Team

Ken Chang (Founder and President of Chang Ministries Global)
My name is Ken Chang. I am married to Patricia Chang. We have two sons, Keano and Kyle.
I spent most of my working life, employed as a Local Government Officer and I also did voluntary work with the Youth Justice Service as a Young Offender’s Panel Member. In September 2009, after we received a word from the Lord, my wife Patricia and I attended Charis Bible College Walsall. We both stepped out in faith because we knew that God was calling us. After we completed three years, I remained at Charis for an additional year. During my fourth year, I was offered and accepted the position of “Director of Pastor and Partner Relations” alongside the role of coordinating the weekly healing school, both of which I thoroughly enjoyed with the support of my wife.
In July 2015, I was offered the position of Director for Charis Bible College Walsall. Initially, I looked at my inadequacies and questioned whether I could ever take on such a position; but I was prompted by the Holy Spirit when I heard him say, “Ken, follow me, and I will take you to places you have never dreamt of” so I accepted the position.
In June 2020, I was reminded of the instruction of the Lord, “Ken, love my children and look after them (John 13:34-35). You have been equipped and qualified for the work I have purposed and prepared you for. No earthly universities or human beings can give you this qualification to love. So, go into all the world and teach and preach the gospel of grace to all nations, of my unconditional love and grace”. (Matthew 28:19-20).
I recall in my student days a pivotal life-changing moment when suddenly I experienced the tangible Love of God pour into my heart, during worship, and the Lord said to me, “Go and share my love with people everywhere; heal the sick and the broken-hearted”. (Luke 4:18 & Acts 10:38).
These words of commissioning from my Heavenly Father are what this Ministry is founded upon.

Patricia Chang (Co-founder of Chang Ministries Global)
My life changed in July 2009 when I encountered the voice of God during a church service. Missionaries visiting from Pakistan shared a powerful testimony: a young man, once a Muslim, had a radical encounter with Jesus in his bedroom. Despite severe persecution from his family, he pursued discipleship, trained at their Bible College, and later established a church in a remote region. That church, now vibrant with 120 members, witnessed signs and wonders following the preaching of the Word every Sunday.
Their story lit a fire in me. I longed to see the miracles of the Bible happening consistently around me. More than that, I desired to know God intimately and share Jesus passionately with others—to see lives transformed for His glory.
Then, in that very moment, I heard the audible voice of God say, “You – Bible College.”
Soon after, through a divine connection with a friend, I discovered Charis Bible College in Walsall, UK. Charis ignited my understanding of the Gospel in its fullness—it awakened me to the love, integrity, and faithfulness of God. Through its teachings, I began on the life journey of understanding the True Nature of God and my New identity in Christ Jesus.
Before all of this, God had already spoken Isaiah 61:1 to my heart:
“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; He hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.”
This call became clearer as I walked forward in obedience.
Today, God has called Ken and I to minister across the UK and the nations—to proclaim the nearly-too-good-to-be-true message of the Gospel. Our desire is to see captives set free, the sick healed, the broken restored, and the Great Commission fulfilled through the power of His Word and Spirit.mation coming…

Ali Beechey (Administrator, Social Media & Assistant Accountant)
My name is Alison Beechey, and my journey began in the world of childcare. I started my career as a live-in nanny, then worked as a nursery nurse in various daycare settings. Yet, despite the rewarding work, I always felt there was more to life. After seeking the Lord, I made the decision to leave it all behind and follow His calling.
Early in my ministry, I attempted to serve from a place of personal brokenness, which led to a painful setback. I believed I had failed and that God’s call on my life was over. But in His boundless love, God lifted me up, healed my heart, and renewed my vision. It was during this season of restoration that He led me to Charis Bible College, where I learned about the true nature of God, His amazing grace, and the profound depth of His love for me.
With my heart healed and my vision restored, my passion now is to share the life-changing, radical message of God’s love and grace to a hurting world. Today, I work with a Christian ministry and serve on the Pastoral Care Team at my church, where I disciple new believers. Additionally, I am part of a leadership team, ministering the Word of God through weekly Zoom meetings and leading small group sessions.
